Review & Swatch: SinfulShine Bananappeal on Dark Skin

I saw the display of this line at Wal-Mart, the colors caught my eye but more importantly, so did the price (2 for $3). I searched through the colors until I found one that looked really cool (plus, yellow is one of my favorite colors ^-^ Also, I thought it’d be good to show how this polish looks on dark skin.

The claim is that the formula dries so shiny, you do not need a top coat. I expected more. I didn’t notice it being any more shiny than a regular nail polish to be honest.

However, when topped with a topcoat, it does tend to be more shiny than a normal polish would, although from the pictures, you cannot tell. Trust me when I say in real life you can definitely tell the difference.

Other bloggers have claimed that the polish lasts longer than normal formulas. I’ll will update the blog in a few days to let you know how it holds up. Without further adieu, the swatches 🙂
P.S. I added a white background to bring out the yellow.

All in all, for the price, I think it’s great, especially since it’s cheaper than the original brand. But as far as looks go, don’t expect this polish to look any differently from most the other regular nail polishes in your collection.
