I saw these in a Youtuber’s Dollar Tree Haul (UofGlambyAK). She did a swatch on her hand and the color was really pigmented. I was kinda surprised since L.A. Colors is a cheap brand but pleased at the color payoff and price. I set out to the Dollar Tree to pick up the shades that would best compliment my skin tone….Well, that was my first intention. I ended up buying the entire dang collection (at least what I could find). The individual tubes of lip gloss do not have names. All you have to go buy is the name of the duo which fortunately they do print on the back of the tube. If you know L.A. Colors, you know that some of their nail polishes do not have names on the bottoms, just the product number. The particular gloss I’m going to swatch is the reddish/pink one in the pack (the other is just clear). So on to the swatch:
I used this on my lips bare. The applicator is a plastic squeeze tube type. The gloss glides on quite smooth and has a pleasant scent. The gloss is very shiny and moisturizing as well (on the lips at least). When I removed the gloss, it left my lips dry, which I didn’t like. Next time, I’ll use a primer under this one.
