So, this is my first time ever trying the Sally Hansen Nail Polish Strips. As you may or may not know, these are made out of real nail polish which I think puts these on a totally different level from nail stickers. Today marks day number 6 and these almost look as fresh and new as when I put them on in the first place. There is a tiny bit of chipping near the cuticle area but that is it. I did seal with a top coat so that probably helped a lot. Speaking of, since this is real nail polish, it can smear so you have to watch out for that.
Application was fairly simple, same technique as applying a nail sticker for the most part. The only difference is since these are real nail polish, they have a clear protector over the top part of the nail art/polish color. Now, it is a little tricky to get the backing off but once you have that off, the rest is a breeze.
|Right before I took this pic, my nail caught on some netting, hence the nick near the cuticle.|
These are a great alternative to using nail polish in a bottle. It’s so much quicker, no mess, and zero drying time. The only thing I did not like about these is that they have way too many of the small sizes and not too many of the bigger ones. I however, have this problem with every type of nail sticker or glue on nail I’ve tried so this is more so my problem, than the brand’s.
Now you can get these pretty much anywhere else that sells nail polish. I picked mine up from the Dollar Tree of course 😀
These can also be purchased online from Amazon.com: Click here
