Alodia Hair Care Nourish and Hydrate Deep Conditioning Masque

Hey everyone! I am excited to share with you today this deep conditioner I received from Alodia Hair Care. This is their Nourish and Hydrate Deep Conditioning Masque.

Before I get into my thoughts, I want to give a little background on the company:

  • Founded & owned by Dr. Isfahan Chambers-Harris
  • Marketed for all hair types
  • Simple customized solutions to address your unique hair care needs.
  • Their goal is to help women around the world to Learn, Love and Grow their hair.
Alright, now back to the review!

Nourish and Hydrate Deep Conditioning Masque

When I initially received this product, it was my first time using. I’ve actually used this a total of two times. It has a nice and thick consistency. A little clearly goes a long way as you can see below. I’m estimating (with regular weekly use) the 2 oz jar to last 1 month.

The product claims to do these things:

  • Nourishes and stimulates scalp – I could feel the peppermint oil taking action on my scalp from the tingling sensation. It actually felt quite relaxing.
  • Instantly restores moisture – I used this product as recommended with heat for 30 minutes. My hair felt super moisturized and springy after use.
  • Strengthens and softens hair strands – It left my hair extremely soft after rinsing out.

Alodia also advertises that this conditioner does not have any of those undesirable ingredients:
NO Sulfates, Silicones, Phthalates, Parabens, Petroleum, Mineral Oil, Artificial Colors and Fragrances. This is certainly an absolute plus and a must have for my hair care products.

One of my favorite ingredients in this product is the peppermint oil. It’s great because I have extremely dry scalp so this ingredient is key and really helped to eliminate the itchiness and dryness I experience on a regular basis.

While the product is not the cheapest out there, it is comparable to others you can find at your local retail stores. The 2 oz size is $7 while the 12 oz size is $13.99. Both sizes are sold on alodiahaircare.com as well as select retailers.

In addition, Alodia also makes and sells different kits which also feature this product. These include:

Overall, I really like this deep treatment mask and it’s perfect for those of us with dry hair. I would order it for myself, as well as recommend to friends. I’m also open to trying other products from their line.
